Library Logo Art Contest: Home

An updated guide for our newly added materials!

Show your love for New Fairfield Free Public Library by designing a logo that we can use on promotional materials - this logo will be used in advocacy and awareness campaigns to convey that our library is essential to our community.

The winning design will be awarded $150 and the chance to see your design on all things library! Entries will be shown at the New Fairfield Free Public Library Art Gallery Premiere event on May 24th.

  • March 11: Contest launches

  • May 17: Deadline for entries

  • May 24: Winner and other entries are shown at Gallery Premiere

The winning designs will be used on materials that will help to promote or organize support around the library: t-shirts, yard signs, stickers, etc. We encourage creativity and out-of-the-box thinking with submitted designs. Simple graphics with a clear, simple message work best. For more specific information and details before you enter, you must read and sign the Logo Contest Rules and Guidelines.

How to submit your design

To submit your design, fill out this form HERE. If you do not have a Google account, you can email: childrenslibrarian@newfairfieldlibrary.org, but you MUST have the Logo Contest Rules and Guidelines signed and attached to the email. Make sure your file is labeled with your last name. You may enter up to 3 designs. If you do so, label the file with your last name and submission number.

If you have any questions, you can call the library at (203)-312-5682 or email childrenslibrarian@newfairfieldlibrary.org

Here are some examples of library logos we like. See how they represent the town with clean and easily recognized symbols.
